Did NBA warning start Celtics losing streak?

The NBA has warned the Celtics this season about their excessive taunting, of which we see a lot less of after losing seven of nine. Bully stuff. Even Bobcats rookie D. J. Augustin said: "(The Celtics) come in and intimidate you and try to punk you. But if you don't back down from them, they kind of fold." You don't hear that much about defending champions. Also, defending champs usually don't lose a key piece over a mere $5 million (and a luxury tax hit), which was about the salary cap exception deal the Celts wouldn't give to key sixth man James Posey. And that seems to be catching up with them with their repeat hopes perhaps resting on whether the Knicks will let Stephon Marbury to go to them for free.

I didn't even know this happened. Funny as shit if true.

Yeah, Celtics are falling apart at 31-9. Didn't realize you had to go 36-5 in order to prevent a post championship lapse.

I don't think they were commenting on their record. So quick to jump on the defensive. Only commenting on their recent struggles.

But do you honestly see them repeating? I didn't before the season started and still do not.

IDK about that. If Bynum didnt get injured you guys might not have gotten traded for Pau Gasol. So who knows

Your team lost, get over it already.

And mfbmike, was responding to this:

The guy is drinking some haterade, or at least making it sound like the Celtics are having a bad year without Posey.

however there was injury reports that said he could be back in the playoffs but he wasnt ready just saying if the lakers had bynum back for the finals a different score might of been there

Ariza is the most overrated piece of shit by the Lakers anyways, he's like Jason Varitek to the Red Sox, does one thing good and everyone thinks he's god's gift to
                            the world.

I don't even know why you think you have an argument...first the Celtics made the Lakers look like they didn't belong in the finals in games 1 and 2, then they went to LA lost a close one in which Pierce didn't even score 7 points...game 4, well...Game 4 was game 4 where the Lakers made history as the biggest choke artists in NBA finals history, game 5 was a close one in which KG and Rondo looked like they had already flown back to boston, and Perkins didn't even play...and then game 6 the Lakers got the floor wiped with their jerseys.

I could see if it was a close finals...but it really wasn't.

of course...what can we expect from someone who's still bitter about 2001...
it was rebounding and a weak post defense that killed us what game were you watching
