It's true though that a lot of teams will just draft a player based off height and potential but that's a garbage high risk strategy. No way Oden should've went over Durant, especially when he couldn't even finish a season healthy at OSU, while Durant was out there murdering teams.

He isn't that bad, he's a solid player when healthy. Was he worthy of a #1 overall pick? No he wasn't. Unfortunately he is injury prone and will be labeled a bust.

He admittedly is no Patrick Ewing, but the injuries have really hurt his career ... and the fact that Portland already has established offensive players (Roy, Aldridge) automatically makes him a role player.
