"scrimmage" game. If it meant something like what the MLB did with their All-Star game then this is worth talking about. For now just enjoy the skills challenge, the rookie/soph game, three point and dunk contests. Isn't that why we tune into all-star weekend anyways?

I couldn't. Heelsox is right about Rondo's leadership role though. Look at what the team does when he doesn't play well. The Celtics need Rondo and he deserves to be there more than Iverson. Iverson is just the popular vote and anyone who disagrees with that is out of their mind.

Anyways...the fact that you think the Celtics aren't because they've played more records is a joke and shows your basketball knowledge. The celtics had a 2 week hiccup where they lost some games they shouldn't have....soooooo, because they played bad for a couple games(Rondo played bad)....they aren't the best team? That takes away from the fact that they're the defending champs, had one of the greatest starts in NBA history and are now on a 7 game winning streak where they dismantled Orlando last night.

First don't ever question my basketball knowledge. I call it as I see it.

In 07 the Celtics surprised everyone, they played well, they put together a championship team, the proof is in the Banner. To call them the best team in the East this year though? They barely made it out of two series in the east last season (though they did make it). Everyone makes them sound like the unbeatables that we should worship the ground the Celtics walk on.

Excuse me for not falling in line and jumping on the bandwagon. I see a Cavalier team in Cleveland, biased or not. That came minutes away from sending the Celts packing a year ago and are much improved this year. I see Orlando who could shock either one of these teams if it came down to it in Orlando.

The east changed over the off-season and the Celtics arn't the best anymore, too bad we have to wait until the ECF to find out who is.
