Wade Says Playing For Knicks With LeBron Could Happen

Dwyane Wade was asked about the possibility of playing with LeBron James in New York on Friday evening.

"It's not crazy," Wade told The Post in the visitor's locker room of Indiana's Conseco Fieldhouse. "It could happen. We both understand that. We both signed the same contract. We did it together. More than anything, it's fun to think about. It's exciting to know we both control our future. Will it happen? Who knows. He has some something he's trying to accomplish in Cleveland. I have something I'm trying to accomplish in Miami. But up until 2010, it will be fun to think about."

Wade did mention that the New York weather is one factor against him signing with the Knicks, citing his love of the Miami sun.

i think Lebron and Bosh or Amare would be way better on the Knicks...and D'Antoni could prob get Nash at a discounted price...Imagine Nash, Lebron, and Amare runnin D'Antoni's offense in New York?

I don't like the combonation of LeBron and Wade, STAT, or Bosh to be honest.

All of those players should be #1 options for their respective teams, I can't see any of them meshing well together other than perhaps Wade and Amar'e

Stays in Cleveland brings D-Wade up here, "We go to New York twice a season n1gga, I said we're going to play at the Garden, I never stated which team."

Doesn't D-Wade got a crazy baby's mama down in Miami? I mean, just pay the bitch and move away.

The chances of the Knicks using their cap space in 2010 on LeBron James and Dwyane Wade is extremely remote. Knicks president Donnie Walsh is targeting James and a big man, starting off with someone like Toronto's Chris Bosh. Walsh's plans don't call for two elite wing players because, as he explained earlier this season, "you have to have a big guy who can do the real important things. Scoring, maybe. To me, it's more about rebounding and blocking shots and providing the intimidation inside. You need those things to contend." So Wade's speculation about playing in New York with James is just that.

LeBron is a great passer. They would blossom together. It would be no different than the big 3 last season. Each cut down shots and won a championship together. Wade and Lebron can't do it on their own though. They need some guys around them. Nash would be great in the D'antoni system again and if you put those 3 together. It's a much bigger "big 3" than the Celtics. I'm beggin for this to happen.
