When does this put him back in the lineup, first round off the playoffs? We all know Kobe did this on purpose, he couldnt stand Bynum taking some of the spotlight.
God i hope that was sarcasm.LA still is the best team in the west.Hopefully he will actually come back this time.

It's just a coincidence he goes for 61 on the night after Bynum gets hurt. lol

They were playing the Knicks.I could go for 61 against the Knicks(If i had Kobe's skill set at least).

Scoring 60 points isn't exactly a regular thing. He's the only person in the past 12 years that has had more than one 60 point game. It was one of those games where he said give me the ball and get out of the way. How many shots did he take? Like 40.

              So probably about 40 shots.

The Lakers record without a good performance from Bynum has only been sub par so far this season. We'll see what they do without him. Obviously they can dominate the Knicks still.

Im now in the predicament of either keeping Bynum and hoping he'll help me in my fantasy playoffs, or cutting him and picking up someone else to assure I even make those playoffs. The options are slim and unworthy.. making this decision even more difficult.

For now, Walton & Odom, but when Vlad Rad gets back on Phil's good side it'll be Vlad. Walton is in the lineup for his passing abilities, but Odom is a great point-forward so that eliminates Walton's role pretty much. So they could use the spot up shooter in the starting 5 in Vlad Rad, I know Phil likes Vlad in his starting 5.

Will lakers trade with Bynum out?

You're thinking it. The rest of the NBA is thinking it. I bet deep down, some folks who show up for work in purple and gold sweats are even thinking it. Andrew Bynum's right knee may have just cost the Lakers a championship. Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak can always make a trade like last year -- Feb. 19 is the deadline -- and wouldn't Sacramento's Brad Miller be a nice addition? But he said right now he's holding tight. "About a trade, our tendency is to say no," he said. "To me, the resolution is simple -- Andrew has a good chance to return before the end of the year, so we wait."

I hope they don't get another steal like last season. Maybe they'll trade Vujacic for Yao this year.
