    Lol @ HORSE contestants

Durant is in as the defending champ.. but the other 2 kinda threw me off. Omri Casspi and Rajon Rondo. Ok.. Casspi has a decent stroke and may be ok for this, and its obviously to promote his stardom around the league being the first Jewish player. But Rondo?? Rondo in a trick shot contest? Isnt this shit meant for shooters? Seems like a very odd choice. Might aswell put Rose in that shit too, lol.

Watch the dude win that shit now..

Is Farmar Jewish? That dude should've rode that gravy train for a long time. Casspi is already 200 times the star Farmar is. Hes a legit Jew. He dont even tip.

Farmar was the leagues only jew for a while. I'm pretty sure he's content sitting on the bench and showing off his rings

Besides, Farmar just went off for 18 the other night against Utah.

LOL @ being content with one ring when you could still have thar ring and be a fucking huge mega star in Israel and in every city your shitty team visits, too. Omri Casspi is laughing all the way to the bank @ Jordan Farmar's ring.

It has nothing to do with whos the best player.. it has everything to do with star power. If Jordan was more marketable as a Jew he'd be a fucking HUGE star. Casspi is getting a ton of applause and press everywhere he goes. Farmar embraced the American side instead of the Israeli side and missed the boat.

Farmar is from America and converted to judaism when he was 2 after his mother married his step-father.. Farmar's real father is black. he has no israeli in him.

Edit: I was wrong, Farmar's mother is Jewish (But white, not israeli). She didn't practice Judaism though until she met Farmar's step father who is israeli. Farmar's real Father (Damon Farmar) was Christian

Who cares? If dudes a Jew, dudes a Jew. He could've rode that to the bank. They're looking for any athletic star they can find to grasp on to. Just attaching yourself to Israel and getting citizenship there would've done wonders for his star power and bank account.

Most players in the league would take a championship ring over the cash. To know your at the top of your sport, that nobody is above you is a ridiculous feeling that few get to live through.

Are you just replying back for the sake of it, or what? Having a ring is completely irrelevant to this. He could've got his ring regardless. This is about missing the gravy train all the way to the bank. His step-father fails at being Jewish for not being there to encourage citizenship and otherwise.

And in response to most players taking a ring over cash, I dont even think thats entirely true. Id say its between split down the middle, especially for a young player.

No, I'm replying back because your making retarded assumptions and ever more dumb ass statements based on those assumptions.

How would he have gotten his ring regardless? I'm not understanding that part. Are you saying he's good enough to be the next kobe and take over a team? Or are you saying he should have demanded more money for the sole sake of him being the only Jewish player at the time?

He's not good enough to command more money then he's making. If he had, I'm not entirely sure the lakers would have kept him. Look at Ariza, who wanted more money. He's playing on a championship caliber team that has a very good chance of repeating championships next year and earning a second ring. Sounds like he made the right choice to me.

Oh.. my.. god. My head hurts just reading thru this shit. What are you not grasping about this?

He could have every single thing he has right now PLUS the endorsements in Israel and whatever little promotion comes from being a Jewish athlete in America, too (like uhhh.. being named to this HORSE competition despite barely making any impact on your team). Him being a star would NOT change his draft value, would NOT change his playing time, and would NOT change his status as an ON-COURT player. But it would make him a world wide star, and his popularity would be improved drastically. This includes jersey sales, website hits, etc, etc. What are you not understanding? Trying to go on this shit about demanding more money, and being happy with rings and shit is completely and utterly irrelevant to ANYTHING im saying. Jesus christ, gather your thoughts and try to comprehend what you're reading.
