Stoudemire won't be traded to the Cavs, but this thread is still very lulzworthy.

Let us continue to ignore the financial structure of the NBA.

I don't see this as lopsided really. JJ has been playing some amazing ball lately. Z has a big expiring contract, and Amare has a big expiring contract. For this season alone, it's obviously lopsided for the Cavs. But in the long term, Suns have a potentially good player where as they would have had nothing at all once Amare left. Good move for both teams IMO.

I think Hickson is going to EXCEL in Phoenix, kinda of like how Amar'e did.

No doubt. He won't have to share as much time and he'll have Nash dishing it to him on the regular. I don't care how good LeBron was at setting JJ up, no one even compares to Nash.

When is the big Amar'e to Chicago deal going through? Are they going to send Steve Nash as well?
I really didn't even know Kerr was a Cavalier. I thought that with Craig Ehlo and Mark Price, they had satisfied their white guys requirement.

I think of Kerr as a Bull first, Spur second, terrible GM third.

Hickson will average 13+8 for the Suns, Curry+Biedrins would have been a better deal though.

JJ Hickson is NOT very good. Please dont ever try to swing it like an Amare for Hickson trade is even remotely good.

                    Makes sense for the Suns

Amare' has made it obvious that he won't re-sign with them so they mayswell get something while they can . They get Z's expiring and a young player all for a player that was going to walk in a few months anyways

EDIT: The suns clearly don't rate Amare' that high lol. The Pacers asked for Z, Hickson and a pick for Murphy

Wern't the heat offering Beasley at one point?

Lebron/Stat/Shaq is one hell of a frontline.

Shaq sucks the Cavs are better when he isnt on the floor.

Should be epically bad on D.

It's not. But Hickson + expiring $11 million dollar deal for Amare is not bad.

                            Exactly

You got to remember aswell that teams are hardly going to be lining up to rent a player for half a year without any promise of a new deal. Only teams who are looking to make a championship push would be intrested in Amare' at this time of the year

Really can't be too bad when Moon is out there, with him and LBJ running around helping like madmen. I mean yeah that should be bad but will it be worse than when Z and Shaq were out there together?

I'm not sure. Amare' doesn't even try and play D
