Gordon? Hinrich? We are keeping Nash by the way, so throw Hinrich out the window. We don't need to have more over paid point guards on our team. Gordon? Have you seen Barbosa, for whatever reason management is in love with Barbosa and we wouldn't trade him all of last off season. So Gordon doesn't fit for us. Also, I didn't even state that we JUST traded for J-Rich. One of the three would be riding the pine the whole season, doesn't make sense to me. Thomas could be interesting though but you can't get Amare just for Thomas.

Yes, I really think the Suns wouldn't be interested in those players. I must be an idiot yet I'm sure a lot of people would agree with me. Gordon expires at the end of the season. I haven't followed Hinrich this season but I know his performance last season was a decline from the previous one where teh Bulls made it to 2nd round of playoffs. Thomas is a freak athlete but still hasn't lived up to his potential.
The Suns picked up J-Rich in a rebuilding effort? They picked up a 3 yr contract valued at over 40 million dollars to rebuild? You have got to be shitting me. They picked him up for another offensive weapon to gun for a championship. Maybe they are starting to realize now it isn't going to happen but to say they picked up J-Rich to rebuild is absurd.
Btw, if you're going to call someone an idiot, don't forget your apostrophe brah.
All I'm saying is I believe the Suns would want Gordon, Hinrich, Deng, Thomas or picks.Comment

I don't mean to come off as a dick but it's the truth man. I mean I can understand, you being a Bulls fan and all and worse heists have been made before (gasol/kwame).
Funny how you went from "you're an idiot if you think the suns don't want that" to "i believe the suns would want that"
ahahah.Comment

Later draft pick? It's going to have to be in the top 10 to be even be considered. I don't want to sound like an ass but we are talking about one of the best players in the league. You don't get him for 1 journeyman, 1 overpaid PG who hasn't shown me much for awhile now, and a late draft pick.Comment

It's a dumb move IMO for them to start rebuilding, but it looks like they are. they know they cant compete in the West this year, and with the same team next year. It's obviously not the players, its the Front Office and the system that Jerry Porter is running. Amare was killing early in the year, and then BOOM Shaq comes back, and its give the ball to Shaq down low. That's not the system the suns should be running.Comment

All I can say watching this Warriors vs Suns game, is that you (Primetime) don't know how defense is played, or you just don't watch Amare on defense.
Amare's defense, or lack there of, was the cause for the last 3 Golden State buckets. He doesn't know how to switch, is lazy helping out, and doesn't know how to contest shots without leaving his feet (only reason he averages so many blocks).
Now i know what you're going to say, and no, I'm not basing this off of one game. I've watched at least 15 Suns games this season, but I had to watch this one and pay close attention to Amare just to make sure he hasn't become an adequate defender overnight.Comment

They didn't acquire J-Rich as part of a rebuiling effort. They got him thinking it would increase their chances of making a run at a championship but they have since realized it will not and are probably deciding to scrap it altogether and start over.
Oh, and "sources say xxx is on the block" all the time. Rumors swirl like crazy around trade deadline time. Doesn't mean they are all true. Until you get a quote from the teams actual GM saying "xxx is on the trade block", you can pretty much take it with a grain of salt.
You can quote me if you'd like to.
I personally don't see Amare going anywhere this year. I personally don't think any team has enough to offer for him.
They want a talented young forward with picks and expirings. The first team that comes to mind is Portland.
Aldridge, Lafrentz (12 mill) and picks. But the suns don't want to deal with any Western conference teams and the Blazers wouldn't give up Lamarcus anyway.Comment

Unless something really huge happens, right now I'd say that there's a 90% chance that Amar'e sticks it out these last two years and just walks away.Comment
