    Knicks Plan B

Now that it appears LeBron is putting all his eggs in the Heat basket, the Knicks must move on after years of work goes down the drain.

Reports say they have a deal on the table with Golden State that would send David Lee westward for PF Anthony Randolph and friends (none of whom would be significant pieces IMO).

The Knicks reportedly are interested Luke Ridnour or Ray Felton to lead the team at the 1. Same reports say Amare prefers Luke and the Knicks do too, b/c the intend to go after superstar PGs next off-season (namely CP3 and Deron).

Unless they can find a center (Haywood?), that would lead the starting 5 looking something like:

    Ridnour/Felton
    Chandler
    Galinari
    Randolph
    Amare

Certainly not contending for a title right out of the gate but definitely a nice base to build on.

Randolph has a ton of potential, but Don Nelson gave up on him...

Yeah, I wouldn't be terribly upset if this came to pass.

A top tier PG would be a nice consolation prize.

You consider Felton a top tier PG???

Sure a perfect Plan B would give you a couple of nice young pieces, but in the end this was an embarrassing failure for NY.

Can't wait for the "OH THE KNICKS ARE GETTING CP3 OR DERON WOOOOOO" hype for next year. It will be the same shit as this year, no one wants to play for the knicks. Get a coach that knows the game of basketball and maybe someone will take the knicks offer seriously

Then who are you talking about? Empire mentioned Felton and Ridnour, you didn't name anybody and said that getting a top tier pg would be nice.

                  lol

CP3 or Deron would likely require a trade. Don't see that happening.

                  I'll settle for Tony Parker.

For the record, I still think LeBron is coming.

Settle? At this point you'd be lucky to get Parker, you probably wont. Lebron is long gone.

                        That's not a bad plan B, Anthony's talented

We need to get our PG situation in order though, neither Felton or Ridnour excite me much

Oh and the Knicks have absolutely nothing to be embarrassed about......they swung for the fences

The Nets are the ones who should be embarrassed.....that great "blueprint" is really going well

The Nets won 12 games last year. They're already an embarrassment.

Melo along with CP3 or Parker are going to NY next summer.....there is no doubt in my mind especially when you consider none of those players will win in their current situation and the trend is for star players to come together.
