    ESPN did a fine job for a number of years covering sports, that doesn't mean their last 10-15 years hasn't been a complete and utter joke.

      Riiiight......in an age where people have 600 channels of programming, 5 of which are solely dedicated to remodeling your kitchen, we should thank our lucky stars that ESPN is here because NO ONE ELSE would have ever thought of something like "Sportscenter". :flush:

        how long would of it of took, what kind of model would they have had, would it have been successful enough to warrant the type of coverage espn brings in every sport

        yes eventually a sports channel would of showed up but espn did put a great formula together that most people enjoyed watching sticking to the highlights so yeah espn did do something great so :smugusa:

            espn lost relevency once people started understanding what the word "internet" meant, and that it was pretty easy to get on it. thats only like... 20 years ago.
