Ye I don't understand why people don't think we have the best offer for Denver and the favorite choice for Melo.

The Nets would only beat our offer (Chandler/Gallo/Curry/First) if Lopez is involved which would be pointless because then the Nets would suck and Melo would leave in the summer.

And even if they accept Favors/Harris/T-will then the Nets would have no playmaker, none.

Beat writer Alan Hahn guesses that Ronny Turiaf will start at center for the Knicks.
It sounds like the Knicks are going to go big, with Anthony Randolph at small forward, Danilo Gallinari at shooting guard and Amare Stoudemire at power forward. That would leave Wilson Chandler as a bench player. Turiaf could hold some low-upside value here as a rebounder and shot blocker, but his minutes will be capped by those troublesome knees.
