Looking at the box score of the UNC game I can see why they lost. You can't win a game with only 8 assists as a team. There needs to be more ball movement trying to find the open man. Selfish play leads to losses

Big East is "down", yet dominating non conf.
Pitt undefeated, beat Maryland & Texas.
Hoyas 5-0, best shooting team in the country, blew out NC St.
Syracuse 4-0
Marquette unbeaten, ready to take down Duke tonight.
Even Calhoun has his new big man and has UConn winningComment

Tarheels need to get it together quick. I'm all for Larry Drew losing his starting PG spot, he does nothing.Comment

Yeah, it really doesn't make much sense that Marshall isn’t starting, because the offense runs much smoother with him out there and Marshall is an elite/special passer on the level Magic, Kidd, etc. Having the ball in Marshall's hands immediately makes everyone else better.Comment

I hate to say it but right now I think Duke is the only team that can beat Duke. The only way they are losing is if they shoot poorly because they play strong off the ball defense and very unselfish offense always finding the open man.Comment

PENN STATE BASKETBALL 4-0
WE NCAA TOURNEY NOW
Just continue beating the teams on the schedule and go into conference play with a good mark. Being weak inside will kill this team though; the only game I've been able to watch was against St. Joseph's and the big men are baaaaaaaaaad on the boards.
Taran Buie had 14 points off the bench against CCSU. :D

I'm not saying there's a team out there that presents this match-up problem this season, just that historically Duke has always depended greatly on outside shooting.Comment

Hasn't that always been the case with Duke? Even Coach K's best teams are very perimeter oriented. The bigs are typically soft as pop tarts, so if the shots aren't falling, teams with length and physicality can bully them a bit.

K-State is aggressive and downright sloppy at times, but that's the way they work. I think that could frustrate Duke.
The thing that hurts us is our aggressiveness leads to a lot of fouls being called on both ends. Our depth is fine for that, but Duke is much better from the charity stripe.
The game could very well come down to which team shoots better from the line down the stretch.Comment
