David Lee's infection situation isn't getting better. He had surgery on his arm Friday to flush out the infection. He then had to return Sunday night for another surgery and remains in the hospital. There is still no timeline on his return. I've read everything out there news wise since the injury occurred and not alot of concrete info is out there. Just a couple of updates here and there.
Many warriors fans are frustrated on how the injury was dealt with. Some think is was a lapse on the warriors trainers or the Knicks doctors treating it. Or it could be one of those things were it could have gotten infected regarldess once the injury occurs.
Still a pretty bizzare situation, and does seem like David Lee is ill from the infection, but is expected to make a full recovery.Comment

For once, Starbury is right;
He doesn’t teach defense,'' Marbury said. "He teaches offense. (Jeff) Van Gundy teaches defense. (The D'Antoni system) doesn't work in New York. Not in the East. You have to have a team that dives for balls and takes the 3 when nobody expects you to take the 3. You have to be inside the fans' minds and that's what they want. There's knowledgeable people in the arena. They're talking to you while you're shooting a jump shot.'' New York Post
Actually, Marbury sounded just like any other bitter Knicks fan disgusted by the team's 3-7 start and five-game losing streak. Marbury claims to be just that – a diehard Knicks fan — though he has fallen out of favor with most supporters. "It's just a matter of time,'' Marbury said. "That's all I got to stay about D'Antoni's situation. I don't pay attention to his coaching. It hasn't changed since he won 50 games or since all the how many games he's lost here. If he had different pieces, he's a very effective coach. But without any players that play with the realm of how he coaches the game, it will never be. "It's a matter of time,'' Marbury added. "It's a countdown now. He put a countdown on his head. Now (the fans) know we're never going to win a championship like this.'' New York Post
Tina Cervasio (sideline reporter) asked Phil Weber (asst coach) at halftime if it was "time to tell the guys to stop shooting threes and start going to the rim" and he replied to the effect of, "Well we're getting wide open threes and that's exactly what we want, we know our guys can hit them."

Walsh needs to wake up and smell the damn coffee. Get D'Amphony's ass out of here.Comment

^^^^ that's real talk from Marbury
I've been saying this shit ever since this guy came into town.....I hate his system and he's too dumb to realize he doesn't have the talent here to pull it off.....he's so arrogant that he thinks he can make it work with any bunch of players.....the final straw for me was when he refused to let them hire a defensive guru which would have allowed him to just worry about the offense, something he's supposedly so great at
Phil Jackson had Tex Winters, what makes this guy think he's too good for help? especially in an area he doesn't even care about
Even Amar'e already said guys aren't buying into D'Antoni's system
Walsh gave D'Antoni a very tepid endorsement yesterday....Walsh basically said he gave D'Antoni a pass the first two seasons because he was trying to turn over the roster and had minimal talent.....this year though he's holding him accountableComment

They were able to get back in the game because they stopped taking those silly threes, drove to the hoop to get fouled and made some stops on the other side of the court.
That stat, I think it was 3-19 from the three point line in the first half is disgusting.
