So what's happening in San An? Is Duncan still dominating or is it the Parker/Manu show again?

Memo to Donnie Walsh - do not trade for Carmelo Anthony(I don't want to lose Landry Fields). Sign him after the season as a free agent. Amar'e & Carmelo with the team we have now could be dangerous.

It ain't that simple though, if Denver does decide to trade him it will be with the parameters of Melo signing an extension with the team they trade him to....so if Denver moves him anywhere besides NY before the trade deadline, you can kiss that Melo dream goodbye.......you better hope Melo plays out his contract in Denver (I don't see that happening), that's the only way we'd be able to sign him next season

But supposedly, Melo will only sign an extension if he's moved to the Knicks.

Yea I just read that...The NY love was strong yesterday......Would probably cost us any combination of Chandler, Fields, Gallo, Randolph and Curry's expiring contract

Hate to lose the young guys, but fuck it he's a proven superstar and only 26

Carmelo Anthony has told the Nuggets he will not sign the nearly $65 million contract extension he has been offered unless he is traded to the Knicks, a source told ESPN.com on Sunday.

I completely forgot about Curry's expiring... that's going to be a huge part of the deal. That's a nice chunk.

At this point, Denver doesn't have much say IMO unless they are willing to keep Melo and walk away with nothing in April.

What are you willing to trade to get Melo? Curry's expiring deal is a must.

I'd assume Gallo and Chandler would be the two key pieces (since there'd be no room for Gallo)....but then who's the big 6-man for the Knicks?

The money works out for expiring, Chandler and Gallo.

                          That's a decent haul.

I'd be happy as hell if they held on to Fields and still swung a deal for him

Knicks also need a first round pick, something they are trying to acquire by dangling Anthony Randolph

If we can get away with it by moving Randolph for a #1...then packaging Curry, #1 and Chandler....that'd be ideal.

I'd prefer to keep 2 of the 3 (Chandler, Gallo, Fields).

Fuck the way Jim O'Brien is handling Darren Collison. Benching him the entire 4th Q for AJ Price? What a fucking knob. Poor Collison fantasy owners like myself.
