Plus I wanna see what Yao has left.
I firmly believe if you want to stop Kobe, put Shane Battier on him. No one has defended Kobe as well as Battier throughout his career.

I would much rather see Phoenix/Portland to be honest though but they aren't going to NOT put the NBA Champs on TV.

I should check and see if the NBA League Pass free preview has been activated though.

And I'm a huge LeBron fan.
I'm still not positive they are going to flow very well at any point.

Chalmers-Wade-James-Bosh-Haslem is a very unbalanced starting lineup without good floor spacing.

Arroyo and Anthony started tonight. It will take time, everyone's been saying it.

Yeah even then, without Miller they don't have a good three point shooter except old Eddie Buckets but you really can't put him in for any length of time.

Essentially you have Wade/Bosh/LeBron all utilizing the same amount of space on the floor. Good defensive teams can collapse on a driving Wade/LeBron without repercussions.

Can't expect Wade and Bosh to go 7-27 in many games either though. If even one of them plays mediocre tonight, the Heat beat an elite team and are 1-0.

Yeah but anyone with half a brain knows that's probably not realistic.

This was one of their toughest games of the year and they have never played together before for more than a couple minutes. LOL at you counting them out from anything at this point.

Everyone has said the Heat will take time to get their chemistry going, even Jeff Van Gundy.

I'm a player fan. Never really had a team before. Bucks if anything cuz they're my home town team, but I could really care less. As long as the Lakers don't 3peat, I'm a happy man.

And I expect LeBron to shoot nearly 50% on the season, so I'm not really worried about it. He should have double, if not triple, the assists and rebounds he had tonight too.

Clearly you've never played sports before. If you did, you'd know nothing is like live action.

It's not about the 3 players playing together. It's about the team playing together. And no, preseason isn't shit. When has the preseason ever meant anything in any sport? It's no where near the action you get from the regular season and playoffs.

LeBron took his talents to South Beach, but he left his defense in Cleveland :D

Why do you think the US team didn't kick ass for so many years before the gold medal team? They never played together. Chemistry is a huge thing and it takes time. You don't just gel in practice together. The coaches need to find who plays well together on the court and Wade and Bosh just need to shoot better. The Heat had plenty of open shots that they just missed. It isn't all about the chemistry, but if this game was played a month from now, the Heat win by 10+.
