I think it's fair to say Griffin has an argument for it. One major knock against him is KG and Dirk were both on Playoff teams, but you cannot say that what Griffin is doing isn't impressive. I think he deserves mentions as far as MVP, even if he doesn't even have much of an outside shot at winning it, and just that in your Rookie season is very uncommon.
If they make the playoffs (and have been playing great of late), I'd keep him in the discussion
