    Raptors/Hornets 5 player swap

ESPN's Marc Spears reports that the Hornets and Raptors have reached preliminary agreement on a trade that would send Peja Stojakovic and Jerryd Bayless to the Raptors for Jarrett Jack, David Andersen and Marcus Banks.
The Hornets have been eager to find a legitimate PG to backup Chris Paul, and Jack would fit that bill with Andersen and Banks adding extra depth. From a fantasy perspective, this could crush Jack's appeal while thrusting Jose Calderon into the starting lineup. Stojakovic could become a more reliable part of the rotation in Toronto, but is still limited by age and poor defense.
VERY disappointed by this trade. Hopefully they'll give Bayless the proper run, as him showing his true potential would be the only thing to make this trade worthy. Gonna really miss Jarrett Jack, dont understand at all why we wanted to get rid of him.

Bayless simply can't find a home.

i dont know why teams are so quick to trade Bayless, i think he could be pretty good if given a chance.

          Bayless is terrible.

Strictly a financial move on Toronto's part, as Peja's an expiring contract. When the Raptors signed Jack they were intending on being a competitive team. Now that Bosh is gone, and they're in the pits, it's kind of pointless to be paying him 5+ mil a year.
