As it stands now, from what I've read, the last Knicks offer was: Felton, Chandler, Gallo, Curry, 1st Round Pick.

Denver wants Mozgov, which the Knicks are reluctant to do.

If Felton, Chandler, Mozgov, Curry, 1st Round pick can get it done, I may do that even though Gallo would be without a position (six man).

Ideally, we want Amare at the 4 and not having to play out of position the rest of the season and into the playoffs.

There are also reports that Dolan WITH ISAIAH are running negotiations.

      If this is true, wtf?

Walsh has single handedly turned the franchise from one of the laughing stocks in the league to one with talent, hope and CAP SPACE.

How can he still get Thomas' advice on the team when he ruined it?

I hope Walsh doesn't leave...it would be disastrous...even if they get Melo.

Isaiah must be running VSN too lately, with all the double posts.

Wayyyy too much smoke for there not to be some sort of fire.

            Isiah is a fucking snake.

              Latest:

-Dolan, Walsh and D'Antoni released a joint statement essentially saying all three are talking and are all together on negotiations. Plus, they say there's no outside presence. lol jeez, they needed a press release to calm people about isiah

-Newsday's Alan Hahn reports according to his sources, the Knicks have made their final offer and are not changing it. Felton, Gallo, Chandler, 1st Round Pick (Randolph) and Curry for Melo, Billups and small pieces to make the $$$ work out.

-Reports are out there also that Melo so badly wants to go to the Knicks and sign the extension. If a deal doesn't get made, he may leave CAA and fire his agent.

                1. I'm not happy about Billups/Felton swap
                2. I would hate for Billups to be bought out and then go to Miami.
                3. I still think this is too much.

Felton is really the only piece i really care about. Chandler means nothing with Melo, Gallo is replaceable and the pick and curry are nothing.

Felton is a short term answer. Billups is not going to put up a fuss I believe.

So that's a wash in the big picture IMO.

Keeping Fields and Mozgov is big if they can pull that deal off.

                      .
AURA? what aura? do you mean the stench that has surrounded MSG for the past decade? the stench that is just now STARTING to dissapear?

Sources are saying that Dolan is desperate to make this deal, he's seems to be determined to make a deal work before the deadline,

and lets not forget that Dolan Basically HAD to be forced to demote Isiah[he NEVER actually Fired ISIAH], and insisted that Walsh keep him in the organization in some capacity. Dolan also insisted that Walsh Thank Isiah for his help at the Amare press conference, and according to various sources Dolan believes that Lebron would be a knick today if Isiah had gotten involved in the negotiations sooner. Sources say Dolan truly does believe that NYC never got to see the real Isiah, whatever that means.

Rumored deal on the table has:

                        New York Receives:
F Carmelo Anthony (who would sign the 3-year, $65 million extension)
G Chauncey Billups (team option for next year @ $14.2 million)
                        F Shelden Williams (expiring contract)
F Renaldo Balkman (2 more years left at $1.675 million each)
                        $3 Million in Cash Considerations

(I've read either Williams or Balkman or both)

                        Denver Receives:
G/F Wilson Chandler (RFA at the end of this year)
F Danilo Gallinari (RFA at the end of next year)
G Ray Felton (UFA after next season)
1st Round Draft Pick (From Minnesota)

                        {Would save about $6 million in luxury tax this season}

                        Minnesota Receives:
F Anthony Randolph (RFA after next season)
                        C Eddy Curry (expiring contract)

Lol @ the TWolves being willing to part with a HIGH first round pick to grab Randolph and Curry's expiring.

                            Thats some bullshit.

Unless the rumors of the TWolves giving us Telfair as a throw in are true, that's a major fuckup to get rid of Felton, bring back Billups and not even get a backup PG, even if its Anthony Carter.

Renaldo Balkman is just gonna waste away on D'Antoni's bench while Williams is another redundant player.

Knicks need to address that backcourt even moreso now that they can't abuse Felton for 40 mins a night.
