True. Reminds me of the year ('06 maybe?) that Tennessee was a 2 and ended up almost losing their opening game and getting bounced in round 2. They're good but nowhere near deserving of a 2.

Why? Their best OOC win is Texas Tech. Their only good win is Gonzaga and they lost twice to the Zags since that win. They also lost their bracketbuster game at home to Utah St.

St Mary's won the regular season crown in the WCC. I always weigh that more heavily than the conference tournament. Other teams had better resumes than St Mary's but Colorado, VaTech, St. Mary's should have easily replaced teams like VCU, Illinois, UAB etc.

The big 12 seemed to get slighted as a whole. Texas is better than a 4 seed. A&M is better than a 7 seed. Mizzou as an 11 seed is absurd.
