1. Cleveland Cavaliers (from LAC) - Kyrie Irving, PG, Duke - Cleveland needs talent everywhere. Irving is the top player in the draft.
2. Minnesota Timberwolves - Enes Kanter, C, Kentucky/Turkey - Derrick Williams is the better player, but Michael Beasley is doing a fine job at SF. Kanter is the top Center in the draft.
3. Utah Jazz (from NJ) - Derrick Williams, SF, Arizona - Andrei Kirilenko is more of a PF now and is a free agent anyways. Utah desperately needs a wing scorer.
4. Cleveland Cavaliers - Jan Vesely, F, Czech Republic - Like I said earlier, Cleveland needs talent everywhere. Vesely has tremendous offensive ability, but is the exact opposite on defense.
5. Toronto Raptors - Brandon Knight, PG, Kentucky - Jerryd Bayless is a combo guard, and Jose Calderon isn't a long term option. Toronto needs a true young point guard.
6. Washington Wizards - Kawhi Leonard, SF, San Diego State - Washington has a huge need at SF. Leonard is still developing as an offensive player, but is a great defender and rebounder for his position.
7. Sacramento Kings - Kemba Walker, G, Connecticut - The Kings need to find another guard to pair with Tyreke Evans.
8. Detroit Pistons - Bismack Biyombo, PF, Congo - The Pistons need a banger down low to go along with Greg Monroe.
9. Charlotte Bobcats - Jonas Valanciunas, PF/C, Lithuania - Charlotte needs another big. Valanciunas is a top five talent.
10. Milwaukee Bucks - Jordan Hamilton, SF, Texas - The Bucks could do better then Carlos Delfino and Carey Maggette. Hamilton is one of the more polished players in the draft.
11. Golden State Warriors - Donatas Motiejunas, F, Lithuania - Golden State could use a big to stretch the floor. Motijunas needs to put on 20-30 pounds if he's gonna play PF.
12. Utah Jazz - Jimmer Fredette, G, BYU - The Jazz already drafted a scorer in Derrick Williams with their first pick. Jimmer is one of the best shooters we've seen in a while, and will fill that role well.
13. Phoenix Suns - Alec Burks, SG, Colorado - The Suns are gonna need a scorer as soon as they decline Vince Carter's option. Burks is a steal this late.
14. Houston Rockets - Chris Singleton, SF, Florida State - Houston could go in a number of directions with this pick. They already have a bunch of bigs, so I'm gonna slot Singleton here. Singleton is a great defensive player.
15. Indiana Pacers - Kenneth Faried, PF, Morehead State - Indiana doesn't have any depth behind Hibbert and Hansbrough. Faried can back be the backup to both of them.
16. Philadelphia 76ers - Tristan Thompson, PF, Texas - Philly would like a Center, but one isn't worth taking here. Maybe Thompson can turn into a Center.
17. New York Knicks - Marcus Morris, PF, Kansas - Pretty much the same thing I said about Philly except New York needs a Center more.
18. Washington Wizards (from ATL) - Markieff Morris, PF, Kansas - You could always use depth in the front court, and Markieff is the top player available.
19. Charlotte Bobcats (from NO) - Tobias Harris, SF, Tennessee - Stephen Jackson isn't a long term option at SF. Harris is the best available SF.
20. Minnesota Timberwolves (from MEM) - Klay Thompson, SG, Washington State - If Wesley Johnson doesn't work out at SG then Minnesota is gonna need someone else. If he does then Thompson can backup the 2 and 3.
21. Portland Trail Blazers - Lucas Nogueira, C, Brazil - Marcus Camby is old and Greg Oden is always injured. Nogueira can spend a year or two overseas, and then come over.
22. Denver Nuggets - Nikola Mirotic, PF, Montenegro - K-Mart is likely not gonna be back next year. Mirotic isn't gonna play now, but in a couple years he can come over and likely be the starting PF.
23. Houston Rockets (from PHO) - Josh Selby, G, Kansas - Selby is one of the more talented players in the draft, but hasn't put it together yet. Houston has a lot of depth at guard right now, so it's worth the risk.
24. Oklahoma City Thunder - Kyle Singler, SF, Duke - The Thunder need a backup for Kevin Durant. Singler would be a great fit in that role.
25. Boston Celtics - Jordan Williams, PF/C, Maryland - Boston needs to get younger at just about every position, especially in the front court.
26. Dallas Mavericks - Tyler Honeycutt, SF, UCLA - Caron Butler and Peja Stojakovic are both free agents. Dallas is gonna need some depth if they can't retain them.
27. New Jersey Nets (from LAL) - Travis Leslie, SG, Georgia - New Jersey needs a scorer and that's what Leslie does.
28. Chicago Bulls (from TOR) - Reggie Jackson, PG, Boston College - There isn't a SG that fits what Chicago needs, so they take the BPA.
29. San Antonio Spurs - Trey Thompkins, PF, Georgia - Tim Duncan doesn't have much left. San Antonio is gonna need someone to replace him.
30. Chicago Bulls - Davis Bertans, F, Latvia - Chicago can use a pick here on a developmental prospect. He'll play overseas for a couple years, and then come over.
2. Minnesota Timberwolves - Enes Kanter, C, Kentucky/Turkey - Derrick Williams is the better player, but Michael Beasley is doing a fine job at SF. Kanter is the top Center in the draft.
