    NBA Draft Rumors

    Courtesy of HoopsHype's rumor section:

    - Lakers may have offered Gasol to Minny for #2 and Kevin Love (#2 pick is widely available)

    - Cavs are interested in Rudy Gay but others say they're looking at the Hawks roster

    - Minny and Milwaukee have talked about a deal that would swap the #2 and #10 overall picks plus send Bogut to Minny

    - Suns want to move up from #13 and may be using Gortat to do so

    - Front runner for Iguodala is the Clippers with the main piece going to Philly being Kaman plus other bits and pieces

    - Orlando and GS have talked with Philly about AI but they don't have the pieces/$$$ like LAC does

    - Monta Ellis, Andre Miller and Jameer Nelson are being shopped by their respective teams

    - In Sacramento, they're split on Fredette. Ownership wants him to sell tickets but the coaching staff is not sold and it sounds like the coaches will win out.

    - Prospect Biyombo's stock is dropping big time.

Minny would be crazy to trade their number 2 and Love for Mr. Softie.

I wouldn't hate trading Bogut for #2 straight up, or Bogut + #10 for #2 + #20 or decent player.

      I don't like Bogut and 10 for 2 though.

If a Iggy is dealt it will be before the draft, the Sixers want to know the exact plan going into the draft and not having to figure things out during it. If Iggy stays then either Markieff Morris Morris or Donatas Motiejunas, but if they trade him then they will either go after Marshon Brooks or Jordan Hamilton. If the Sixers do trade him it'll be Kaman and Aminu, I don't like the deal, I rather just keep Iggy.

oh man if Clips get Iggy they could be a very good team with a few more piecses. Imagine Griffin, Iggy, and Gordon together. Only problem I could see is Gordon right now is the Clips go to guy down the stretch and he should be. Not sure how Iggy will feel about being the 3rd option at times since Blake will only be getting better.

Man they might make the playoffs with Mo williams running point now. wow i hope they pull this off.

Have fun with Iggy thinking he is LeBron and running point forward. Also have fun with Iggy being LeBron in the 4th quarter and bricking every shot he takes.

whats the reason for Biyombo's stock dropping? bad workouts?

he seems like a stud to me.

                        Bad is an understatement.

That along with little high competition experience and questions about his age, pretty high risk pick. Of course he will be a monster shot blocker wherever he goes, but when you are that weak on offense you shouldn't be a top 10 pick.

EDIT: To his credit he was probably very nervous, and he is much more suited for a 5v5 game than this.

I heard he is listed at 6'7". So to be that undersized, plus having no offensive game, you are pretty much drafting a shorter Joel Anthony.

LOL. I think Gasol is over rated. He's a very good player when he plays, he stands around to much and watches. Lakers would be ass raping Minny on this deal.

thanks for the info, ive been working alot and havent kept up with much draft talk.

I watched him playing vs the top American guys in the Nike Hoop Summit and he seemed just as athletic as the best Americans and and outstanding shot blocker. I hope someone can teach him an offensive game outside of dunks and putbacks though.
