    ***Portland Trail Blazers***

Needed a single thread to vent about the Blazers instead of making a bunch of topics.

Greg Oden not playing tonight with the bone chips in his foot. I actually getting concerned about this. That's a guy who needs to be happy if the Blazers are going to be a contender in the next few seasons.
    I give rep not thanks

I'll give Gred Oden one more season to be healthy. If he has another injury that plagues him next season, I am officially calling him a flop. The guy can't stay on the fucking court.

He's been pretty solid on the court this year. At times he's got my hopes soaring but if he's going to play 20% of each season then get him the heck off my team.

I'm interested in a Blazers fans perspective on this question. Let's go back two years. Would you still want Oden? Knowing that Oden can still blossom into an all-star caliber center but is an injury risk, would you still take him with the number 1 over all pick?

i thought the chip was in his knee?

Should be a good game tonight in the Rose Garden. Blazers don't lose very easily at home and the Hawks don't win a lot on the road.

Need to see a nice game from Joel Przybilla so that I'm not terrified of a void in the middle.

Edit: I also wouldn't mind seeing a little bit of Jaryd Bayless in the game tonight. Steve Blake and Sergio are Nate's guy but I loved the intensity that Bayless brought to the court.

            Blazers by 10. Final answer.

My bad, it is in his knee.

Just got done talking with a guy who's sitting the season out with Gonzaga because of a bone chip in his foot. Fresh on my mind.

NO WAY. I'd still beg and plead to take Kevin Durant. Brandon Roy and Kevin Durant would be a sick combo. I'm still holding out hope for Greg and I understand the reason behind the decision and won't give the Blazers a bad time about the pick but I personally would've gone with Durant.

And tonight with OKC playing against Phoenix Durant could do it again! he's going to get a LOT of shots up tonight.
