I hope he has to go infront of congress so he can make even more of a fool of himself like Clemens, Bonds, Mcgwire, and Palmiero -
^agreed, even though I cant say I wasnt a lil disapointed at the time but then once I realized how Arod acted for the Yankees I was glad we didnt get himComment

it will be ridiculous if he gets suspended. These results were suppose to be PRIVATE yet got leaked. This was BEFORE there was mandatory suspensions. You can't just suspend a guy because info came out about how he used steroids 5-6 years ago when there was no punishment during that time.Comment

He wont get suspended but he will get the Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens treatment. He will go to congress lie then get in trouble for purgery. I guess he could get in trouble for being linked to a banned trainer in 2007 and staying with him in hotels and shit.Comment

The trainer is the only thing he could get in trouble for and he might because Selig is a bitch and doesn't want to take ANY of the rap for the steroid era. If Arod has to go in front of congress I don't believe he will lie. He might be lying now but he isn't under oath. Bonds and Clemens are truly retarded.Comment

most people are forgetting that while it may not have been against MLB rules, it certainly was/is against American Law.Comment

actually in 1991 commisioner Fay Vincent sent a memo to all teams saying the it was illegal to use performance enhancing drugs. But once again there were no punishments for them. I actually did a lil reading on Fay Vincent since he was before my time and he seemed like a pretty good commisioner in terms of the integrity of the game. He was behind Pete Roses banishment from baseball. He also banished George Steinbrenner for life because he paid someone $40,000 to get dirt on an outfielder. Steinbrenner was reinstated as most of you should know. So if he was commish now I can probably guarentee that all these steroid guys would be suspended or maybe even banned from baseball.Comment

I didn't know about the 1991 thing but you I don't see how you can suspend him for using something that everyone used and no one before this steroid era got banned for.
People are tested positive for weed all the time but they don't get arrested for it. It is illegal in America unless you have a doctor's note I believe. But again Selig is looking for the scapegoat and it might fall on A-rod. I think Selig is a shitty ass commissioner, he is more worried about his reputation than anything elseComment

Im so jaded about baseball and steroids I don't even care anymore....
just give the 10% who arent using anything the juice and put every1 on a even playing field...

Originally posted by MVPeteFat Ortiz was linked to that trainer as well, and I'd put good money on him using some ped that isn't legal now back when he lived in the Dominican. I love how everyone forgets the fact that there is still a list with 103 other players on it, and I'm sure more then that as well. Everyone just keys in on arod because he was essentially the perfect player. Not to mention he's always inthose top 50 most beautiful people lists. Basically what I'm saying is get off the guys nuts and worry about what your team is doing this year. You can't change the past. You don't hear people complaining about rose, or the bash brothers , so put your 2 cents in in arod and move on.Comment

I am probably a baseball purest. I want the game to get rid of the guys on steroids pretty bad. I do believe there may be some current and former sox that were on roids. However I dont think Ortiz is one. One guy who I think was on the juice was Nomar.Comment
