5 years into the nba for kobe he was averaging 28 ppg Lebron 5 years into the league he was averaging 27, kobe is clutch lebron is not, what lebron has 1 game winner in 6 years, lebron james misses freethrows in the clutch.
"From the time he hits the court, he plays at a competitive level that you rarely see," Popovich says. "He does the exact same things that Kobe (Bryant) does, that Michael Jordan did.

It's becoming, much like with Tiger Woods, that Lebron is pretty much always one of the top candidtaes for player of the week/month etc ...every single week or month, whatever the case may be.

He's, quite simply, the most dominating player in the league, and can be dominant even without scoring an astronomical amount every game ...

Facts is, he doesn't dominate the ball ....he gets his points without taking a high amount of shots each game ...he scores while continuing to have a very high shooting percentage, and he maintains a high shooting percentage even while consistently seeing double, and sometimes triple teams....

This is unprecedented for a player playing the small forward position ...even check Michael Jordan's shooting percentage when he was a Bull ....rarely had years where he shot close to 50% from the field.

So, Lebron gets his points, distributes effectively allowing others to get quality looks at the basket and shots ...and all the while being one of the better defensive players on the team, and rebounders ...

Eventually, he will become a player that averages, for a season, double figues in all three categories ....something I thought we'd never see again ...which the last player that ever accomplished this feat was the great Oscar Robertson.

What is going unnoticed and unpublicized is the fact that Lebron, this season, has taken his man defense, help defense to a far higher level than he's ever displayed in his pro career up to this point.

As great as he was and is, he's getting progressively better with each new season ....and folks, that's scary.

Much like Tiger Woods, he's the best ...and keeps getting better and better.

At tyhe end of this guys career, he will be deemed the greatest all arounfd player to have ever put on an NBA uniform.
      .

LOL, 1 more point a game. How many more assists has lebron dished and rebounds has lebron pulled down in comparison? 1 point? Is that really the best you can throw back? LOL.

I'm not arguing that Lebron is a better scorer or jump shooter than Kobe is. I've never argued that.

But I will argue that Lebron shoots a much higher percentage than Kobe. Mostly because he takes less shots which in turn = more efficient.

When did having a jumpshot make you the best player in the league?
When Shaq and Duncan were considered the best players in the game they weren't making threes. Kobe and LeBron are two completely different players. Kobe shoots and LeBron drives. Is one better then the other no.

Kobe is by far a better player than Lebron.

i dont wanna get into anything like skills because that will, take to long but i just wanted to say this...

when people talk about Kobe they talk about if he is as good as Jordan, when they talk about Lebron they talk about if he is as good as Kobe. You never hear Lebron compared to Jordan nearly as much as Kobe is.
How is he "far" better? Lebron is a better passer and better in close than kobe (his size obviously makes that last one) . Im not saying Lebron is better but saying Kobe is way better is kinda dumb imo

You guys are talking like all Lebron does is drive close and score and cant do nothing else in a game .
