Good point, but the thread title made me laugh so I couldn't resist.

Implying that someone would actively change their plans or be inconvenienced because of the NBA lockout, lolz.

Well see occasionally people buy tickets ahead of time to events or games if you will so yeah it is a minor inconvenience and a pretty large scale change of plans.

It's nothing you did wrong. Just that a lot of people that don't care to begin with want to tell everyone - for whatever reason - that they don't care.

Basketball's not anywhere near as big a deal to me as football is, but I love watching the playoffs and I don't mind the regular season... I guess I'll be watching college ball, and hoping they get this shit settled better than the NFLPA did.

Ahh, I gotcha. I just haven't been on forums for so long that I forgot people don't really care for stuff like this hahahaha. Basketball is my main sport maybe that's why I think this. I'm sure that football is a lot of people's favorite here, but I also can say that there is probably a big variety of sports people like too.

                  this.

the NBA is definitely a distant 2 for me, but its still solidly #2. i was getting caught up in the Dbacks buzz (this city is so desperate for a winner that when one of our teams gets anywhere the whole valley lights on fire) but they are now in an 0-2 hole and I guess I shouldnt root against milwaukee being a Packers fan.

I'm just really disappointed that they had to have a lockout following a transcendent season. Say what you want about LeBron, but everyone was either rooting for him or against him, and doing so very passionately. The playoffs last year was amazing basketball and im sad that I don't get to cheer for the Suns to beat LA. Speaking of the Suns, its also really disappointing that Nash gets a year off when he's probably only got a couple 3 left.

I can see why the owners want to change the salary structure, but they are shooting themselves in the foot with future profits when you had a season where guys like me who arent exactly passionate about basketball but thoroughly enjoyed the games I watched would have definitely dropped a couple benjamins at the arena this year...

im reading stories of all the nba players and teams coming to UofK to practice and workout at the facilities. The college team is getting in great pickup games every day. The former UK players, The OKC Thunder and Boston Celtics have been around campus alot lately.

In the unlikely event the NBA only loses these two weeks, the Knicks would start the season on a six-game, 10 day west coast road trip.

                                Now that's funny.
