Hamilton unhappy coming off Pistons bench

Rip Hamilton is trying to be the good soldier. He became the sixth man -- although he opposed it -- because he was told it would help the team. But after the Pistons fell to 4-12 with him coming off the bench after Wednesday night's 90-87 loss to the Hornets, he let everyone know that he doesn't think it's working. "The way we've been starting, is the way (Pistons coach Michael Curry) wants it," said Hamilton, who scored 24 points. "I've said I'm happy to come off the bench as long as we're winning. But we're losing. "Something's got to give. I'm all for doing whatever it takes for the team, but coming off the bench with us not winning, something's got to change." And Wednesday night's performance favored his argument. Allen Iverson, who likely would go to the bench if Hamilton were to return to the starting lineup, left with a stiff back 8 minutes into Wednesday's game and didn't return.

What a mess. You would think they would have already figured out AI starting isn't working. :einstein:

Iverson would get more shots in the 2nd unit which is what I would think he wants.

All Hermann does is chuck up 3's anyway. Tell that Fabio looking sonofabitch to calm down.

Rip said this. You'd never here AI say something like that, ever.

I'd be unhappy too Iverson is a bum who lacks everything that made the Pistons good.

If the Pistons were winning, noone would be complaining. I cant believe this team is under .500 at this point, it really is nuts. Reality is tho, they blow right now. That Chauncey trade might've had the harshest immediate impact on a good team making a bad trade that ive seen in a long time.

Funny enough we almost won last night and AI only played 8 minutes. Michael Curry is also a terrible coach. We've lost 8 in a row yet he refuses to shake things up.

Really right now if anyone needs to go to the bench its Stuckey. Stuckey has played atrociously in February, I mean just awful. I realize this is leaves us without a point guard but Stuckey isn't really a point guard anyways.

Best part is he'll be starting next year when AI is gone. Curry needs to man the fuck up, tell AI look your not part of the future so you're our 6th man now. We need to get Stuckey comfortable with Hamilton.

                    Michael Curry is a fuckhead.

Who in thier right mind designs a play to have WALTER HERMMAN take the game-tying 3 pointer?? That was just dumb.

And Dumars is just as big of a problem for this team as Curry.

LOL @ Panda trying to blame Dumars. Dumars has done a tremendous job with that team and keeping it competitive for years. The Iverson trade was poor, but he did with intentions of keeping that the team competitive for years beyond this one. And no one could've predicted it to be this bad, no one. Anyone who says they could've is just blowing smoke.

I remember hearing all this shit my friend who was a Pistons fan talk. About how they're one of the top teams in the East, and just all this shit. Thinking that they were gonna keep Iverson, and then go after James, Wade or Bosh. Hilarious to see this team fall on it's face after making such a greedy trade.

If we get Chris Bosh or Wade in 2010 than this will all be worth it, thats if we get them though.
