I'm guessing they trade Williams for the spot up 3 type player to fill the other guard spot. No reason for him to be on the roster behind those two players.

He has an option at the end of this year which he will pick up. 2 years on the Clips. He agreed that he would pick up his option or the Clippers wouldn't have taken the trade.

So glad for this to be over with. It actually has me excited for the future of the Hornets. This bit of trade rape got a happy feeling in my stomach. Drew Brees is picking Eric Gordon up from the airport and will be his personal welcome crew.

If Paul is healthy he's a monster. He'll provide leadership and get the young guys focused on what matters. IMO this helps DeAndre Jordan the most. .....he'll wish he became a free agent after this season, as his value is going to go up now. Gordon is a good player, but he isn't a star player in the same class as Paul.

Part of that trade had to do with keeping Griffin, which is pretty sad considerig his contract isn't up until 2014. Teams really fear their stars leaving. Given his gimpy knee, who even knows what type of player Paul will be in 3 years, but for now this team is better with Paul. They still have good depth......I'm sure they'll look into trying to trade Mo Williams for a SG/SF.

The funny thing is that I'm not even a Laker hater but it's funny as hell to watch the Laker fans all shitting their pants. All of the die-hard Laker fans that know I've been a Clipper fan can't even look me in the eye. I love it.

Laker fans are hugely offended at the mere thought of the Clippers actually having some success. It's like you get off on being the only show in town and now that the Clippers are relevant for once everyone's acting like Chicken Litte.
