That trade should include Gordon OR the TWolves pick. Definitely not both. That's two potential superstars, a young Aminu with tons of potential, and an all-star caliber center in Kaman. Apparently that's not enough to make it fair though....

Chris Paul isn't going anywhere until the NBA gets a stick out of there ass. They're screwing NO by trying to help.

Just so we're clear, here are packages the NBA has said no to, despite New Orleans agreeing to them:

-F Lamar Odom, G Kevin Martin, F Luis Sciola, G Goran Dragic and the Knicks 2012 First Round Pick (top 5 protected, from Houston).

-G Eric Gordon, C Chris Kaman, F Al-Farouq Aminu and the TWolves 2012 First Round Pick (unprotected, from the Clippers)

The Clippers will have the cap space after the season to sign him straight up.

                  This is a fucking joke.

                  Stern needs to go.

Talk about setting a bad precedent.

I never said the NFL model doesnt work for the NFL, I said it wouldnt work for the NBA.

Nobody cared about the Raptors when they had Chris Bosh. Nobody cared about the Hornets with Chris Paul. Now you put Bosh on the Heat and Paul on the Lakers paired with other superstars, suddenly casual fans are very interested. Fans like to see stars paired with other stars, and like to see elite teams.
So you are advocating a league where like a half dozen teams matter, for the sake of increased fan interest in a half dozen teams, while 20 teams dangle in the wind and cant sell a ticket?

Not sure how you can argue increased fan interest when the owners basically were about to shut down the entire season based on the premise of not enough fan interest in 2/3 of the teams.

The league isnt healthy because the system is broken, and the lockout fixed nothing. Kn fact, now its worse with the Paul debacle.

LOL at turning down possibly the 1st overall pick, Eric Gordon and Aminu plus Kaman's 12 million comes off the books after ths year. Even bigger LOL at expecting to get Eric Bledsoe in that deal too. The Hornets really are going to be fucked in the summer when CP3 leaves town and they watch the Clippers pick first in the draft.

This is the biggest debacle in league history. And we thought missing games was bad ... This is worse. Give us the lockout back, please. That at least made a modicum of sense.

So to be clear the NBA wanted the Clippers to give up:

Sources: Clippers were asked to part w/top five trade assets for CP3: Gordon, Minnesota pick, Kaman's expiring contract, Aminu and Bledsoe

Should have just asked for the whole franchise.....

Now I'm starting to understand why the NBA Lockout lasted so long. David Stern is a fucking asshole.

Lol @ the massive amounts of backwards logic that has gone into all the decisions the league has made over the last few days. Yeah lets call it a conflict of interest to move the best player on the team, thus pretty much demanding a kings ransom, all because they want fans to buy tickets and want the team to be in a better position to be able to sell to potential buyers. As if complete and utter turmoil and no guidance are appealing to either the fans or a potential owner. Just downright absurd had this is being handled.
