He needs to develop that mid range fast. Guards don't even play his jumper, they play the passing lanes. He's be nasty when he does, same with John Wall.
Rondo may not have a consistent jumpshot, but I've seen him take over mamy of games. The article says Rondo can't create shots for himself, which isn't true at all. Rondo's gifts as a player are in his ability to set up his teammates by anticipation and leading them into easier shots. He's also a great defender and great rebounder for his position. He may not be the scorer that Rose, Williams, Paul, Westbrook, etc are, but he's certainly an elite PG who controls the tempo of the game.
He's alright. Top 10 PG but I wouldn't put him in the top 5 at the position.
Most people severely overrate him.

He's in a perfect position for his skill set in Boston. Seemingly every weakness of his game doesn't matter there....and every strength is a perfect fit. A lot of other places he wouldn't be nearly as successful.
