But seriously, despite the disappointing NCAA Tournament exits in recent years, I think it's safe to say now that John Thompson III has the Georgetown program at a place where you won't be seeing down years all that often, if at all. He has the recruiting train rolling to the point that no matter who he loses (Jeff Green/Roy Hibbert era, Greg Monroe, Wright/Freeman/Vaughn era) the program is now at a point where they will always stay at a high level.
I'd also like to add that DePaul being 9-3 is pretty damn awesome, and I don't want to hear about a soft schedule. This is a team that literally couldn't win a league game the last couple of years. I have always said that when the DePaul program gets back on its feet, look out, because those Chicago players will start to stay put. DePaul is poised to step in help and replace some of the departing faggo programs that are running scared to the ACC.
