    Temple beats #Duke!!!

Shit just went down on S Broad tonight.....Fuck you Krzyzewski!!!

Expert recap and game analysis of the Temple Owls vs. Duke Blue Devils NCAAM game from January 4, 2012 on ESPN.

PHILADELPHIA -- Khalif Wyatt scored 22 points and Rahlir Hollis-Jefferson had 17 to help Temple knock off No. 5 Duke 78-73 on Wednesday night.

Using tough man-to-man defense that limited Duke's long-range shots, the Owls (10-3) grabbed the lead midway through the first half and never let it go. When the Blue Devils (12-2) crept within three points in the waning minutes, Wyatt hit consecutive 3-pointers for a 66-57 lead.
The Owls had lost nine straight times to Duke, and hadn't beat the Blue Devils since Jan. 25, 1996. This decisive win in front of more than 20,000 fans gave the Owls wins over Top 10 teams for the fourth straight season, all in Philadelphia.
Mason Plumlee had 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Blue Devils.
Temple fans stormed the court in celebration and lingered long after the final buzzer.

Temple was throwing up all kinds of shit and going in.

Duke just needs to find the right combo from their guards. Seth Curry is a 6th man type guard, he's no PG or nothing...pure spot up shooter...him and Dawkins.

IF anything, Quinn Cook should be getting some minutes to run PG, alongside a Curry/Dawkins and Rivers. That and playing Silent G more minutes because he gives us an athletic wing that can play....I'm really sick of the Tyler Thornton experiment.

They basically live and die by the three ball. Temple isn't a big enough team to work the ball into the post, we have three guards who can shoot pretty well. If Duke went to Mason and Miles earlier they probably could of won the game. Duke was too fixated with getting the guards into a rhythm and it ultimately cost them.
