    The nation's top 25 freshmen

I like Austin Rivers but he's on a team where they are still searching for an identity.

We have 1 real PG who can become an all-american and that's Quinn Cook...but he's a freshman and he still has a long ways to go.

We start Curry, who is STRICTLY a spot up shooter...he's not a PG by any means, he has suspect dribble and can't get by his man when he drives.

Thornton is a gritty tough type PG who strictly be an energy guy off the bench but he has gotten some starts this season.

Then you got at the wing/SG spot, Dawkins (another spot up shooter strictly), Gbinje (who I feel is a true SF, and needs to play more).

We got Mason who's been great outside his porous foul shooting and Miles who is finally realizing himself here.

Rivers finds himself as one of the top scorers but he needs to develop a mid range game. He has that 3 point shot as part of his arsenal and he can blow past his defender. He's still trying to figure out what to do when he's met at the rim by better defenders...he kinda finishes soft at the rim at times, he needs to be more aggressive I feel and stop trying to finger roll...also he's still learning how to pass off when defenders try to draw charges...that's where the benefit of a mid range game would give him that extra possible 5 ppg extra. He's easily talented enough to average 20 for us but again he's finding himself in an offense that really needs to play more inside out to maximize our full potential.

Glad to see Kabongo isn't on there. Dude needs to figure out how to run an offense.

I didn't know Australians going to St. Mary's was a thing. Learn something new every day, I guess.
