Uniform culture used to be fun, but Nike has really turned it into something more annoying than prep/recruiting culture.

Hey universities which have worn the same color scheme for over 200 years, colors which your entire fanbase identifies with and takes pride in, here's what we are going to do ... we are going to strip your university of its identity and outfit you in the exact same color as 10 other schools. Sure it's a drab shade of grey that is not only hideous, but also completely unrelated to your school, but who cares? Thanks for devaluing your brand for us and removing all distinctive characteristics that made your program what it was in the first place.
