Dwight Howard open to playing in Chicago

Dwight Howard Open To Playing With Chicago Bulls

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard would be open to playing with Derrick Rose in Chicago, according to the Chicago Tribune.

“If I could play with Derrick right now and God wanted that to happen, it will happen,” Howard told the Tribune. “It has nothing to do with me not wanting to play with Derrick Rose. I love him. That’s my brother.”

“It has nothing to do with Adidas,” Howard said. “In fact, Adidas would love that because me and Derrick have the same guy.”

It had been previously speculated that Howard would not go to Chicago because he shares an Adidas sponsorship with Rose. Those speculations stemmed from a Yahoo! Sports article penned the day after Christmas that quoted one sneaker executive saying “Adidas simply cannot have its two signature players on the same team in the same market.”

Howard’s future with the Magic has been up in the air since the three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year said that he planned to become a free-agent following this season. There have been talks about a potential Howard trade, however the teams which the All-Star center would sign an extension with are limited, which have led Orlando to wait until the trade deadline when they might have better leverage for a deal.

That's cute. Dwight is starting to act like a girl without a dance to prom.

"Is that team part of the popular crowd? Okay, then they can be on my list."

Also a huge LOL at someone thinking adidas either a. cares that two of their players would be on the same team, or b. has the ability to control whether or not it happened.

Howard in Chicago makes too much sense for Bulls management to make it happen.

Hopefully they overvalue Noah again and make him a deal breaker.

He'd look cute in a red and black dress.

Noah's shitty contract makes things even tougher as well.

"ADIDAS is probably going to keep them off of the same team.

They do NOT want their two main athletes in the same market.

                  Corporate fuckwads."

LOL. Yeah. The Bulls will pass on adding the best big man in the league so as not to rumple/ruffle the feathers of a shoe company.

Yeah, having two superstars in the same market just kills marketability........just see Miami with Wade and James....and Bosh.

                      What can Chicago offer Orlando?

Do they have the cap room to sign him as a FA?

Pieces that are tradable by Chicago for Howard:

                        Anyone but Rose

                        Honestly.

No one on the Bulls should be untradable outside of Rose.

Mix and match how you wish. Depending who is traded they should/would have room to for a long term deal. Especailly if the AC someone.

Some Orlando blogger came up with this deal:

                          Chicago Gets:
                          Howard
                          Hedo
                          Duhon

                          Orlando Gets:
                          Deng
                          Noah
                          Watson
                          Asik

I'm so sick of Dwight Howard. Just fucking go to a team already.
Every day it's "Dwight Howard maybe would play for the Celtics." "Dwight possibly likes the Lakers" "Howard open to playing with his soul mate Derrick Rose" "Could Dwight team up with Dirk?"
Just quit being a bitch, stop saying what teams you might like and just keep your mouth shut until you are moved. If I was a teammate of Dwight's in Orlando I wouldn't say a word to this guy. He is the same dude who said during halftime the other night something like "I'm the only guy in here who wants to win, if you don't want to win don't come out on the court" Fuck trying to fire up the same guys you are turning your back on in a few weeks.

ESPN trade machine won't allow me to insert Noah into any deals. Not sure why. Maybe because he has to play so many games with his new extension as it just vested this season.

Tough for me to say how/what money matches up in different scenarios.
