    Chauncey done for the year

Chauncey Billups has a torn left Achilles' tendon and is out for the season.
This is one of the most serious injuries an NBA player can have and Billups will be 36 years old prior to next season. The official rehab timeline is eight months following surgery and his career is in real doubt. The Clippers will move forward by giving both Randy Foye and Mo Williams boosts in minutes. Billups was averaging 14.9 points and 4.0 assists in 30.3 minutes before going down on Monday night.
Tough blow, will probably make them push for JR Smith even harder when he comes back over.

Tough blow. He was really a bigger factor in the rotation than his numbers express. Hopefully they are able to recruit Smith when he gets back.

His career is probably over. That sucks.

I'm so bummed about this. The Clippers are deep at the guard but maaan I loved having Chauncey out there.
