The thing is, The Clippers were starting to also look like a team taht could possibly make a run after theses guys. They were looking at about 30 mil coming off the cap for the 2010 offseason, then dunleavy blew it by trading mobley and thomas for another big man.
Why are the Knicks making so many trades? The answer!

Yahoo Sports made a report saying that they really wanna Get LeBron, Wade, and I think Bosh... That would be crazy but I dont think its impossible. Especially becuz if Boston having a big 3 I see other teams in the East trying to use that format for a team.Comment

with all due respect, as exciting as it may seem, a team having money to throw around doesn't always translate landing a big free agent, let alone 2 of them.
it's easy for us to make predicitions but in all honesty, at this point last year, did anyone really think the Clippers would get Baron, Sixers would get Brand, etc?
WHat I'm saying is, anything can happen. It's way too early to tell how 2010 free agency will play out, pfft, who even knows how 2009 free agency will turn out. lol.Comment

Which is still very much a possibility. That's what I find most amusing is how head over heels fans of the Knicks are getting. If things don't play out exactly how they want them to, they end up throwing away 2 years for nothing really. They are taking a risk and while it wasn't a huge risk considering how poor the team played last season, the fact of the matter is that they were surprisingly showing some promise this year.
D'antoni is trying to say they aren't throwing this season away but let's be honest lol
they don't even have an active center on that roster. :/Comment

Chris Bosh - 15m Expiring
Jermaine O'Neal - 23m Expiring
Andrea Bargnani - 6.5m Expiring
Hassan Adams & Nathan Jawai who we will probably accept by team option to have more cap space - 1.2m
Delfinos contract coming off the books - 2.7m
If Colangelo can resign Parker, and Moon to 1 year contracts this summer we'll have even more. If not, if he plays his cards right he can save up CAP for the next year with which will leave us with around 30-35mComment

haha Nova just got shot down. But in all seriousness, i expect Wade to stay in Miami, Bosh to stay in Toronto, Kobe..isn't he a FA? to stay in LA, Pierce to stay in Boston.
only LBJ and possibly Amare will test the waters.Comment

yupp, all hail me the next lupe.
Predictions really are useless this early. I mean look at the MLB, they're in the off-season and most predictions will still be wrong. No one knows what goes on in the players/agents thought process.Comment
