I would rather have Beal, but there are just so many connections and Kyrie is going to be the main one pushing for Barnes imo.
He'll be there at #4, I can't see him droping lower than 7.

Barnes is the college kid that will be a better pro.

According to a tweet by a reliable inside source late Saturday evening, the two sides are hard at work proposing a deal that would send Portland’s #6 and #11 picks to Cleveland for the Cavs #4 and #24 selections.
Portland wants Beal, but I honestly don't see him being there at 4 so not sure about that move for them. As for the Cavs, I think it'd be a good trade...moving that 24 pick up to 11 would mean 2 picks in the top 11 which would be legit. ONly problem with that is they are rumored to be looking at Andre Drummond. That is the last fucking faggot I want to take. Fuck him.

          lol,what?

Barnes is not a good rebounder for a 6'8 guy, doesn't play good defense, has average athleticism, can go very well to his left, and doesn't have much of a handle

His bread and butter is a jumper in which he either dribbles once or twice or not at all

And even his shooting, for which he is acclaimed for, is not impressive(FG% wise) against good opponents

Barnes benefits alot from playing with Kendall Marshall(look at the few games he played without him) who can set him up in spots and with Roy's up tempo scheme, he can thrive

Barnes trying to create his own shot is pitiful to watch

Barnes isn't a terrible player by any means...but if he struggles with shooting and creating his own shot against good opponents in college, imagine the troubles he'll have against some of the best defenders in the world

NBA is way more iso-based than college, so in order to be a serious offensive threat in the NBA on the wing, it helps a little to have a handle

The Cavs offered 4 picks to the Hornets for the #1. The Hornets promptly said

Thank god that didnt happen I would have been pissed. I'm a Davis fan, but I'm not sure he's worth giving up our whole draft for.

Considering the quality of the lottery I wouldnt think its too poor of an idea.

ya, i figured someone would bring up me being a duke fan, lol

despite my harsh criticism, i think barnes is a better prospect than Austin Rivers(who i wouldn't have minded staying another year, but we're a bit log-jammed at guard. Nevertheless, good luck to him)

                  so...ya

Bobcats may look to move the #2 pick for a veteran and one rumor says they could go after James Harden assuming OKC looks to move him this off-season knowing they can't keep him.

Thunder get the #2 pick and take MKG or Bradley Beal

                      Nice.

"There's no way Beal slips out of the top four," said one league source. The Cleveland Cavaliers will draft him if he's available at four.

I feel like MKG is a JAG when you put him on a bum team like the Bobcats.

I think guys like Barnes, Robinson, and Rivers are some of the safer picks in the draft...after Davis, there is simply a lot of role players and low floor/high ceiling players. Barnes and the like may not have high ceilings, but I don't think they bust, either...long careers, albeit, not stars for guys like Barnes, Robinson, and Rivers.

I'm actually really interested in where Barnes goes.

Hopefully to a team where I can root for him.

My draft board for the Bucks right now:

                                1) Terrence Ross
                                2) Meyers Leonard
                                3) Tyler Zeller
                                3) Perry Jones
                                4) Jeremy Lamb
                                5) Dion Waiters
                                6) Terrence Jones
                                7) Jared Sullinger

I sincerely doubt we would take Jones or Sullinger at 12 though...
