Boris Diaw has reached agreement on a two-year, $9 million-plus contract to stay with San Antonio, league source tells Y! Sports.

Diaw has incentives that can push deal to $9.2M, and terms include a player option for the 2013-'14 season.

$2.8 million? That seems like it's on the cheap......I thought Smith would get more than that.

The Hawks have reportedly reached an agreement to sign free agent combo guard Lou Williams.

This looks like a perfect fit for the Hawks, as Lou-Will is an Atlanta native and should slide into the hole at shooting guard left by the departure of Joe Johnson. And if Williams could average 15 points off the bench for the Sixers last season, he could push that number closer to 20 per game as a starter for the Hawks.
Rashard Lewis has agreed to a two-year, $2.75 million contract to join the Heat for the veteran's minimum.

This basically makes official our report from an hour ago that the two sides were nearing a deal. Lewis will get the veteran's minimum and should be a perfect fit for the Heat, joining Ray Allen and Norris Cole as immediate help off the bench once LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers are ready for a break. The rich get richer, if Lewis is over the right knee problem that limited him to 28 games last season. The second year of his contract is a player option.
The Warriors have traded F Dorell Wright to the Sixers for a player they have stashed in Europe, believed to be F Edin Bavcic.

This move came just seconds after we posted a blurb about Wright being untradeable. He had a disappointing season last year, but does have an expiring $4 million deal that will make for a good trade chip, plus the fact he's a solid basketball player. We're not sure how he's going to fit in with Andre Iguodala already playing his position, but maybe the Sixers plan on using him at SG, where Nick Young is penciled in as the starter. In any case, Wright's ability to hit 3-pointers should make him a fun fantasy target in the later rounds of drafts this October, and not in the fourth round where he was a disaster last season.

lol @ Lou Williams being a starting two guard, that would work out marvelously.

If the Sixers don't trade a wing soon I have no idea what's going on.

Free agent Jerryd Bayless has reached an agreement with the Grizzlies according to Marc Stein.

Bayless was a fantasy monster when he finally got minutes in Toronto, but his ongoing ankle issue then became a hip flexor issue and playing through pain ultimately became a really bad choice. With those injury concerns at the forefront, he wasn't able to command the starting job he would have likely received this year had the injuries not happen. A true combo guard, he'll be a good fit as a backup at both guard positions. This could also be a sign that O.J. Mayo could be on his way out, as the Pacers have been after him for years, including this one.

Bayless was one of those dudes I always thought would be pretty good. From the day he drafted I believed it.

Ill chalk that one up as an L.

Austin Rivers will end up like Bayless.

The Sixers traded for Dorell Wright? How many SFs do they need?

Free agent big man J.J. Hickson has agreed to a one-year, $4 million contract with Portland, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

Hickson played for the Blazers last season and put up solid fantasy numbers for the time he was there. If he starts at center for them next season, he'll be a popular sleeper pick.
The Mavericks will reportedly use their amnesty clause on center Brendan Haywood.

This comes on the heels of them signing Chris Kaman, and should clear the way for Kaman to be the full-time center in Dallas. Consider him a sleeper fantasy pick this year.
Warriors acquire combo guard Jarrett Jack from Hornets in part of Dorell Wright-to-Phily trade.

The Hornets only requirement is to take back the draft rights to Edin Bavcic (originally to Philadelphia) to complete the trade. Jack will be a valuable backup in GSW and this could mean Nate Robinson won't return. As for the Hornets, this should clear the way for Greivis Vasquez to start at point guard this season - at least for now. The move will also get $5.4 million off New Orleans' cap.
The Nuggets have officially re-signed Andre Miller to a three-year, roughly $9 million contract.

Miller briefly griped about coming off the bench last season, but seems to have accepted a super-sub role behind Ty Lawson. He averaged under 28 minutes per game last season, averaging 9.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.7 turnovers. He also played in all 66 games, of course, despite separating his shoulder in March.
The Nets and Jerry Stackhouse have agreed on a one-year contract worth $1.3 million.

This will be Stack's 14th NBA season, and possibly his last, and we're not expecting anything from him off the Nets' bench. He appeared in 30 games for the Hawks last season, playing nine minutes per game, but shot just 37.0 percent from the field.

Nice to see JJ get some work. I honestly always liked the dude in Cleveland, and never understood why he was traded for Omri fucking Casspi.

in other news, the Nets are looking to get Jamison from Cleveland in a Sign and Trade.

I really like the Hickson signing. If he's anywhere near as productive as he was at times for them last year even with his shit defense that's a great deal, if he's bad it's still only one year.

The New York Knicks need to fill out the 15-man roster with minimum contracts and Wednesday they signed small forward James White in the morning and later in the day they agreed to terms with Argentinian point guard Pablo Prigioni, reports Jared Zwerling of ESPNNewYork.com.Prigioni's contract is for one-year at the rookie minimum of $473,604.
Prigioni, 35, is currently training with the Argentine national team in preparation for the Olympics in London. According to agent George Bass, Prigioni has been on Glen Grunwald's radar for roughly five years.

Rough age to make the jump over..

Nuggets are getting ridiculous value out of Andre Miller. Surely he couldve received double that on the open market from another suitor if he willing to go to a likely shittier team. Maybe not for 3 years, but still.

I have to believe there is a better option at PG other than a 35 year old point guard from Argentina.
