Dragic signs 4 year, 34 mil deal with Suns

Going online now: Suns move quickly after Steve Nash trade and strike four-year deal with Goran Dragic worth $34 million, sources tell ESPN

    Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA

As ESPN reported, Goran Dragic agreed to a 4 year, $34M deal with the Suns. Rockets decided that was "too rich" and let him go, source says.
Obviously a move they had to make after losing Nash.

A little overpaid but he's going to be a solid point guard in Phoenix.

Fuck the Suns, but I'm glad The Dragon is back in town! He was the only reason I would watch a Suns game every other week.

Dragic is a good player, but that's a lot of money to be paying your backup PG................Kendall Marshall should be the PG from day 1.

Wait Dragic signed for under 10 mill a year? Gee, who would have thought that...

I guess his market value must have been under 10 million a year

I'm also pretty sure they've sent a qualifying offer to Aaron Brooks. The hell are they going to do with so many PGs?

Is this post serious? Surely not.

Dead serious. I don't see why he shouldn't be. Marshall has that Rubio elite passing ability, so I expect him to do well in this offense.

But Rubio and Dragic can shoot

You say that as if there was never a time when Rubio couldn't shoot or that every PG in the league can shoot. Marshall is a rookie.....he'll improve on that as most NBA player do. Not an issue.

Kendall Marshall is not ready to start in the NBA, not by any means. He'll do a nice job of carrying Goran's bags next year.

But Marshall is no where near that type of play maker yet. Doing it at UNC is different then doing at the pro level, and I was probably Marshall's biggest supporter on draft day to boot.

Great breakdown............Marshall is ready to start in the NBA, but with this move I do expect him to come off the bench and tantalize the crowd with his gifts.
