Eh, it is a valid thought though...the Heat just adding random vets that want the ring...the Lakers did it and it just didn't work...but, it is a good idea to have the ring-hungry guys come in and re-energize a team so they don't get complacent. Payton jumped around until he won one with the Heat...Malone didn't ride the storm out. The Rockets did it when they added Clyde...didn't work when they got Barkley.

You just got to be careful WHO you get. You don't want guys that are just along for the ride that won't work for it...like Malone and Barkley late in their careers.

Allen already has one and fits in perfectly with what the Heat need. Now they are going after Camby and Lewis...are they guys you want...I dunno.

I know Cetlics fans are allowed to be bitter, but the team did bench him and tried to trade him multiple times over the past couple year. Add in the fact that he was having some major problems with Rondo and it can't be surprising at all that he didn't want to stick around.
