Ryan Anderson To New Orleans In A Sign-&-Trade Deal

    Rotoworld

Updating a previous report, the Magic and Hornets have agreed to a sign-and-trade sending Ryan Anderson to New Orleans and Gustavo Ayon to Orlando.

It seems the Magic felt they couldn't match an impending offer sheet, so by working a sign-and-trade they'll at least get Ayon, who proved more than serviceable last year and comes with an unguaranteed $1.5 million salary next season, a $1.5 million team option in 2013-14, and a $1.9 million qualifying offer in 2014-15. The Hornets may renounce their rights to Chris Kaman and Carl Landry to make this work financially, but they're still expected to match the Suns' max offer sheet for Eric Gordon. Anderson's contract is reportedly worth about $36 million over four years.

Slide Davis to Center and Put Anderson at PF and you got a nice front court.

I don't like the idea of having Anthony Davis playing down low being a banger type with Ryan Anderson playing spot up. Watched the guy all season and he's a face up big man when he's not catching oops

anderson's a good stretch 4..he can create slashing space for rivers and gordon(assuming he does indeed get matched)

          but he's awful on D

also, davis and anderson being a good frontcourt? huh?
