Thunder Sign Serge Ibaka To A 4-Year, $48m Extension

    Rotoworld

Updating a previous report, Serge Ibaka and the Thunder have officially agreed to a four year, $48 million contract extension.

Ibaka blocked 3.7 shots per game last season, far ahead of second-place JaVale McGee (2.2) and third-place Dwight Howard (2.1). On the strength of all those swats, he wound up being the No. 11 overall fantasy player last season (per-game value, nine categories) despite playing just 27.1 minutes per game. It will be interesting to see how his annual $12 million price tag affects OKC's efforts to extend James Harden.

I guess Harden is gone unless the owner has deep pockets and is willing to pay the large tax.

In the current big man market that isn't a bad deal by any means, it sure as shit isn't a steal but it could have been a lot worse.

I love it. I don't think there's a way to keep Harden now, which sucks, but I'm ok with this.
