Good deal for OKC and obviously Harden wanted a chance to prove he's more than a 6th man. He'll get that chance now
Harden to the Rockets, turned down Thunder extension

This makes me think back to a couple of months ago when Twitter was blowing up because Harden had sent out a Twitter that he had been traded and then it got deleted. Wonder if the team was telling him then to accept their offer or be prepared to hit the bricks?Comment

OKC did very well in this trade. Martin is a pure scorer and now with Lamb they have two top 5 talents (Perry Jones) from this year's draft coming off the bench. They then have those draft picks too? Presti is a master of acquiring current talent while still being able to acquire future assets.
I like the trade for Houston as well, but if Lamb lives up to his potential then they got hoodwinked. However Harden is probably the 3rd or 4th sg in the league, but I am not sure if you want him to be your #1 option, but instead an elite #2 option.Comment

Houston could be the 8th seed now. I bet Asik plays up to his contract and they have a slew of players that are decent if they can find the right rotation.Comment

turning down 52 million for 4 years is just stupid..especially if you like winning too...I dont give a damn how well he may do in Houston. Its just ridiculous the self importance people percieve themselves to have....52 million for 4 years of wind sprints n taped feet...athletes LOL (( sigh))Comment

i can't believe he turned the deal down for 8 mill in essence...
he'll get his max but will be in a losing situation for a while...Originally posted by Nick MangoldWes Welker is a great player. He's really taken advantage of watching film. If we don't keep a Spy on him, he could really open the Gate.Comment
