Warriors were able to slip into the draft and make a decent pick at the close of the 1st round with Nedovic. Hopefully he is here for summer league and shows that he can give us some real good minutes off the bench, or we are back to just Jack if he stays and maybe Baze or Machado.

Nedo nicknamed himself the "European Derek Rose who is 3 times slower"..lol. Funny dude. Myers had a great draft last year, so curious if he pulled off drafting another player that can give us some minutes right away (Barnes, Festus, Green last year). Was hoping Kuzmic would be able to play summer league who we did a draft and stash with last year as he stayed in Europe. He has great size. But Kuzmic will not be playing summer league due to injury.

It does like Landry is most likely gone. Sucks, he really was a nice presence for us as a dependable inside scorer. So clutch around the rim.

Well I've waited to the last minute to post about the D12 situation. I've been dreading it because it looked like we might be giving up way too much. I'm not entirely sold on the guy regardless. Hasn't seemed to care to play or tough it out for the last 2 seasons. Is he a guy that can just turn the switch on anytime he wants? I don't know, but I don't want my team wagering WAY too much trying to find out. Especially after the team really came together last year.

As a warrior fan we have been hearing the D12 rumors for about 3 years now, which when D12 was at the top of the game, it was fun to imagine. But back then he wanted no part of us, and the Magic wouldn't bite on Monta Ellis and fillers.

BUT, the latest reports have D12 really liking his possibilities with GS. He really liked what Mark Jackson and Curry had to say. BUT, Lakers aren't really willing to sign and trade and Warriors won't budge on throwing in Barnes/Klay/. The Warriors last ditch move is trying to unload Bogut, Beans, and Jefferson's hefty contracts to save around 35 million. If this is how it goes down, which I don't know who is going to take those contracts, I would think would be a pretty incredible move if we could pull it off. I just don't think that's very realistic ( would be unreal if it want down like that). Would be pretty crazy though. In essence it would be trading Ellis for D12, just 3 years later. W's hoping maybe Lakers might bite on Lee and that contract unload would help. Why is Myers coming up with this cost cutting cap strategy at the last minute though. Didn't this occur to him like early in the week. I don't see one contract moved. So I'm thinking its wishful thinking so far.

I just don't want this team broken up. I'm really OK with Bogut here at 100%. But I think the W's don't see him here after this year. If Myers can somehow pull off a sick cap cutting move, that D12 transaction can't really hurt as much if it goes bad.

Guess we all find out tomorrow.

I am confused by this part of your post. Over the past few seasons Howard has had issues, but Howard has certainly "tough it out". He injured his back near the end of his last season in Orlando and the only time he missed with the Lakers was when he had a torn labrum. Howard has rarely missed games in his career. I don't get this narrative that people are creating.

To care and tough it out when things are not going well with his teams. I didn't mention injury. D12 even mentioned in an article at the end of the season he hasn;t handled things well. That whole game 4 ejection was just wierd as well. He just didn't leave a good impression on the Lakers or in leaving the Magic.

Let me ask you this,,,it seems you are a laker fan. Were you happy with his effort and performance last season?

LOL, I wouldn't even be able to tell you the last time I watched ESPN or the precious sportscenter, or any of those talking heads. I watch games I want to watch and make my own opinions.

I am more of a fan of the entire NBA. I will admit that the game 4 situation was strange and it did seem that he intentionally got himself ejected. However, over the course of the season from playing for a terrible coach to having to deal with Kobe acting as if he is Howard's father, I can't blame him for what happened. Over the entire season given the circumstances I thought he played well and hard the entire season. Playing in LA was just a disaster for him and it will continue to be,which is why if I were him I would be gone.

ya that's the thing, Howard was in two situations the last two years that brought drama to the table. Will those type of situations continue where it just seems like there is always something with surrounding him like that OR does he return to a top 3 nba player with no side stories or drama unfolding around him.

I read somewhere that the Warriors already have deals lined up to move Bogut, Biedrins and Richard Jefferson. If that's the case they can sign Dwight without giving up any of their starters (I assume they'd attach some 1st round picks to those expirings to get rid of them).

                      Curry
                      Thompson
                      Barnes
                      Lee
                      Dwight

Is a lot better than whatever Houston is gonna throw together, considering Houston is basically deficient at the 1 and 4 spots.

I honestly think once he settles in with a team he will regain his form and return to being an elite player in the league. The drama came from his pending free agency.

Howard in GS would be scary. The only real concern is Curry's ankle issues, and I expect Barnes and Thompson to develop more to take pressure off of Curry.

Myers is working furiously right now, but I don't think there is a deal in place yet. From what I've been reading seems D12 really liked the warriors presentation this week, and may not make a decision today. Maybe to give the W's time to clear out cap? Who knows everything is just still kind of rumor.

There are very active warrior message board would be going bonkers if this cap move clear out without losing Barnes/Klay is already in place.

The longer D12 waits to make a decision, the more it would seem like his choice might be GS too give them time to clear out the cap space. Something Myers should have done way before this. I do understand Beans and RJs contracts are extremely difficult to unload.

Cleared some salaries, and got Iggy. We have been wanting Iggy for years on this team. Don't really know what his role will be, but he can do a little of everything. Not quite sure how I feel giving up alot of picks. Not liking that part right now.

Nedovic will only be playing 1 summer league game due to national team commitment scheduling conflict.
