The Kings actually have a good young roster, but they just can't seem out it all together. I really like their roster and the talent seems to mesh. I just don't get it.

Sounds like the analysis of every hockey expert for the LA Kings before they finally won the cup. Then everyone said "we told you they were good!" once they won it all from the 8-seed.

when DMC is on, he is a beast. If he can just grow up a little more, he's a top 5 post player in the NBA. Tyreke Evans is a former rookie of the year. John Salmons is also a guy I irrationally love because he has a goatee just like Charles Woodson. If that team can snag a couple 10 20 more wins this season watch this ownership / stadium issue get resolved instantly. It reminds me of the Coyotes here in the Valley of the Sunburn.... years without an owner, relocation talk everywhere, city of Glendale taking it up the ass from multiple cocks to keep them here, then BOOM one good playoff run and the team finds an owner and isn't going anywhere and the stadium drama collectively faded from all our minds. As the NHL itself is, but thats another thread

Much of this team's success hinges on Cousins and Tyreke Evans' development. The both of them have the talent to be among the game's best at their positions and the both of them have put up good numbers, but they need to take that next step. However, I am not sure they have the coaching to get them there.

I really really want to cheer for the Kings. As a bonafide Laker hater, I have a soft spot for that team. I cheered them on for years and believed in that Stojakavic/Vlade Divac (no relation)/Chris Webber core. I play NBA2k1x and in my player I will continuously replay to either land on the Kings or the Suns in MyPlayer.

this is, however a bad team. the Robinson suspension is a symptom of a larger problem ; I figured some shit like that was coming after watching the million turnovers and sloppy fouls. These kids have absolutely no discipline. Evans and Thornton will wander around the court looking moderately stoned and equally offended by the fact that they actually have to try at playing Basketball. Keith Smart was universally hailed in the press as someone who could motivate Boogie Cousins ; and Cousins is not the problem, although he is part of it. I don't see alot of "bullshit totally undisciplined moment" from Cousins as I do Evans and Thornton, but I see the same slumped shoulders, the same "what the fuck EVER" body language. Out of all 3 of them Cousins is still salvageable and I believe that guy can be star player in the right situation, but even after the most cursory of examinations of the Kings will show that they are doomed. I hope they prove me wrong. I still have them on my league pass and I have no regrets. But that shit anyone who even remotely cares about Sac-Toe is praying is gonna happen? it's not happening. :P
