Even if he never plays a game for us, we got rid of Iguodala's terrible contract and would have cap room in the offseason. Still a good trade.

The Sixers fear that Andrew Bynum has done additional damage to his knees by bowling recently, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

The news keeps getting worse for the Sixers, whose theoretical franchise center has yet to play a game in their uniform. Bynum admitted to reporters that he recently suffered a "setback" and had "weakened cartilage" in both of his knees, so presumably the Sixers have linked that setback to his bowling. It's weird, it's disappointing, and the story is still developing, so check back soon for an update.

Friend saw Doug Collins in Philadelphia while shopping for shoes. Bynum has about a 5% chance of playing this season according to Collins.

Andrew Bynum is once again experiencing swelling in his right knee after practicing last Friday, and he said "I don't really know" if he'll play this season as a result.

The right knee is the one that was initially the issue, and not the one he hurt bowling at one point earlier int he season. Bynum ditched the media on Tuesday, has been unable to do any basketball-related activities since last Friday and has now confirmed that his knee swelled up again. This is all on top of a report that he's dealing with a degenerative knee condition, and it's starting to look even worse than previously for Bynum. The Sixers traded Andre Iguodala, Moe Harkless and Nikola Vucevic to acquire Bynum and Jason Richardson in the offseason. Bynum will be an unrestricted free agent in search of a max contract, while Richardson is not expected to be ready to start next season on time following knee surgery. The Bynum experiment has been a downright disaster for the Sixers. Bynum admitted that not playing this year "is a thought."

Sixers CEO Adam Aron opened up about Andrew Bynum's (knee) recovery, and admitted that it's very possible Bynum doesn't play a single game this season.

"This is a move that should have worked," Aron said. The really troubling quote from Aron? "I can't get into his exact medical condition. But I can say this, which is obvious to all of us: He's had cartilage problems. It's March. He's still not playing. He hasn't played basketball since last May. Clearly, Andrew is dealing with some knee problems that have prevented him from playing in the NBA." Aron added that four doctors cleared the trade in August, and six doctors have been actively treating and examining Bynum throughout the season. Aron said a decision will be made on Bynum's future in the offseason after the team has "more information" regarding Bynum's knee.

                              2012-2013 Final Stats: 0 GP, 0 PPG, 0 RPG, 0 BPG, .000 FG%, .000 FT%

                              Still $16.89 Million.

Sixers lost Harkless and Vucevic for this, and people still think the trade was good.

People said you got trash out the deal Rob Hennigen. Good job getting the better of that deal, at least vs the Sixers.
