Utah should have sold the Jazz name back to New Orleans, shift Hornets to Charlotte, and give Utah a more realistic name.

My thoughts exactly. The Jazz is the perfect name for a team from New Orleans. It makes absolutely no sense for a team from Utah to be named the Jazz.

I hope the NBA sees the backlash the Pelicans will get from the majority of public. Stern said he would support any name change (even Pelicans) Benson wanted, so it looks like he is passing the name change to them. As far as team colors....what the wife wants, the wife most likely will get.

The normally reliable Chris Creamer is reporting this as the possible new logo, but he picked the story up from a poster at TigerDroppings which I am always hesitant to trust.



Meh, as long as its a secondary logo and there's a better primary, I can live with it.
