Hawks crapped the bed last night in a big home test vs. the red-hot Warriors. Couldn't get a stop to save their lives. I will await w2b and Godspeed's take for further analysis, I missed the bulk of the 2nd half after deciding that cooking dinner would be a better use of my time.Comment

Was outstanding to see Rubio back last night. It's nearly vomit inducing cliche at this point, but the guy makes everyone better. Wolves were getting their ass kicked and when they put him in he rallied the second unit into a tie. when they put him in late in the 3rd, a similar spark happens. its not just the players on the court. the crowd knows it when he's coming in (surreal scene as the cheers tore the roof off when Rubio went up to the scoring table about to be subbed in), the bench gets so animated the cheerleaders don't have shit on them...
on another wolves note, Kirilenko has been a revelation. he does all the little things. he can drop the 3 point shot but doesn't fall in love with it. he plays hard defense but doesn't foul (the Wolves foul less than any other NBA team, while leading the league in rebounding). He's always around the rim when it matters and while his passing isnt particularly gorgeous he makes them and does a good job recognizing when his teammate is in a better position.
Rubio/Shved/AK-47/Love/Pekovic? they don't even need Brandon Roy to come back. Second unit of Barea/Ridnour/Cunningham/Stiemsma? (Derrick Williams doesn't get to play :P) that's a 6-8th seed.Comment
