A league source told the Daily News that the Lakers stars got into a heated exchange following a New Year's Day loss to the 76ers, and Bryant went for a low blow – referencing and agreeing with Shaquille O'Neal's criticisms of Howard being soft.

Wish I had a .gif of the Ty Lawson layup last night where Kobe just decided to get out of the way and leave the lane. No idea wtf he was thinking.

Kobe hasn't put effort on defense for the past decade. If Lawson was shitting on Kobe and Nash imagine what Durant and Westbrook are going to do to this Lakers team.

That's kind of been the Lakers MO all season. They are just horrendous/uninterested at help defense yet Bryant keeps thinking guys are going to do it. Howard keeps rotating too and nobody moves over. This was pre D'Antoni too since we're bound to throw around the "D'ANTONI HATES DEFENSE!1!~!"

Lakers 3-4 since Nash returned. Thank God he's been the savior every nimrod thought he'd be.

Kobe needs to step up and play some defense himself before pointing the finger at other people. And now Lakers fans want more trades, how many fucking stars does this team need? What do they want the West All-Star team? Dwight won't be back, If you trade Gasol you're fucked, Nash hasn't made much of a impact (like I said earlier in the season), You have Kobe jacking up a bunch of shots, and add on top of all that you have a idiot of a coach. Its going to be fun to watch this team implode the rest of the year.

I'd imagine Howard probably does re-sign with the Lakers for a multitude of reasons including $$$.

He never wanted to go to LA in the first place I doubt he wants to stay unless they get rid of Kobe which is impossible. Dwight isn't hurting for cash, I could see him with the Mavs or Bulls come next season.

Umm... how exactly are the Bulls signing Howard? Even if they amnesty Boozer they still don't have enough cap room to sign a max guy next offseason.

                    Ditto for Dallas.

He can stand to make the most money with LAL. Makes sense for him to stay even with Kobe declining as the years go by.

Dwight Howard has torn labrum in his right shoulder, is out at least a week.

Yeah, I'm not sure when he ever said that. I think he was more than happy to go there, but whatever.

Yeah he just said his preference was a warm weather team in a large market, playing for a title contender.

Clearly none of that criterion applies to the Lakers!
