USA Today's Sam Amick reported Monday night that the Bucks and Scott Skiles will part ways.

First off, whoa. Second off, wow. One of fantasy basketball's most infuriating coaches goes by the wayside, which will kick off all sorts of speculation about the direction of the club, and we'll start off with the player we listed this blurb under, Ersan Ilyasova. Ilyasova, like many of his teammates, has had his confidence crushed under Skiles' belief he can outsmart the game with his incessant toiling. With his big contract, E.I. is as well-positioned as he can be to turn around his season. Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis are safe assets and Larry Sanders is all-but certain to join that group, while John Henson and Mike Dunleavy are also well worth a look if they aren't owned.

They are talking about extending Hammond now.

This summer is going to be a turning point as far as the long-term future of the team it seems (I hope). They made zero effort to extend Jennings at all so I wouldn't bank on them keeping him undoubtedly even though there was that report that they would match anything. I have a feeling Ellis is going to accept is player option unfortunately since there is no way he will make that much money with his stock this low, hopefully that means he has a nice expiring chip though.

Hammond isn't a bad GM. He knows how to draft and he's said numerous time he wants to tank or implied that in order to be successful you have to tank but Herb won't let him do it.

Hopefully Herb sells the team soon. Mark Attanasio said he would be interested in buying the Bucks if Herb ever decided to sell. Would be interesting to see him as owner of both Brewers and Bucks and part time owner of the Admirals.
